Hi,
I want to purchase a TIR 3pro but I have some questions first if I have a chance to set it up correct:
1. My monitor is quite big and my head will be lower than the tracker - is that a problem or can you pitch the tracker a little to point downwards?
2. I have a center speaker of a 6.1 surround system on top of the monitor - will it interfere with the tracker in some way or may I let it stay near the speaker?
3. The distance head to tracker will be around 3 feet - is that a problem?
Thanks for help

quote:1. My monitor is quite big and my head will be lower than the tracker - is that a problem or can you pitch the tracker a little to point downwards?Won't be a problem at all. The Unit Pivots and Rotates, so you can get it to just about any angle you'd need.

The only thing I can think of would be the vibration may rattle it a bit if the volume is cranked. Could lead to it falling if it isn't attached. My unit came with a "stick-pad" clip that can be mounted where-ever, and the TrackIR clips into it.. might solve the problem.
Not sure if there would be any "interferance" problems. You'll have to wait for someone with more knowlege to answer that.

Re: 3 questions on TIR setup
2. I have a center speaker on my monitor and put TIR on it. I've fixed it with scotch tape and it works perfectly. It works better than when it was placed to the right or to the left of the speaker.
