Consistently losing my settings

Hi,
New to the forum and haven't any idea how to get through the thousands of posts to see if my issue has been addressed but I'm guessing it has.
I have TrackIr pro 5.0
Truth is I love how it works, especially for flying choppers. Works great. Except that each time I turn on my computer, I have to create a new profile to use with my DCS. I get everything set the way I want. Most importantly that when I turn my head left or right about 20 degrees (to edges of computer screen), I like for the cockpit view to turn 180 degrees in the respective direction. SO i save the profile under some random new name and mark "exclusive" or something. like that and of course save it by hitting the little floppy disc symbol. I then go fly and it works great.
Next day, load the TrackIr software and load the newest profile I built, and the settings are greatly attenuated. For example, I turn my head to edge of screen (yaw) and instead of 180 degrees, it's perhaps 40 degrees or so. Other settings (pitch etc.) same thing and hence just start from scratch with a new profile.
This happens consistently. Clearly I am doing something wrong but I cannot figure it out.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks!!
