I just bought v5, downloaded and installed the software, but can not get it to work with my FS9.
Is there something I need to do?
Had no trouble a couple years back using an earlier version of TrackIR, but everything got lost with a household move. Is v5 not compatible with FS9???
Would greatly appreciate some advice.

Well, I've tried many of the tips I read here in this forum without any success; plus from the total lack of any responses, I have to conclude that v5 will not run FS9 on Windows 10, at least not on my gaming computer. What a shame, I loved using an earlier version, either v3 or v4, on my old Windows 7 cptr but am giving up on this one. Sending the v5 package back to Amazon: it's too expensive just to throw it out...which is just what I feel like doing right now.!!!!
Oh well, I guess that's what you call "progress" or maybe 'planned obsolescence'.

Please note that the fastest way to reach us is through the contact form on our website (https://www.trackir.com/help), but please allow at least 24 hours for a response (or longer if it is a holiday or a weekend). Posts on our forum must be approved before they are visible to the public.
When you start the TrackIR5 software, were you able to successfully use the device and see movement in the software? Did you update the games list? When you started FS9, did the software indicate that a TrackIR Enhanced game was running (note the status dots in the lower right corner), and did the right LED turn yellow/green on the TrackIR hardware? Did the TrackIR work with other games or simulators?
