works great... a few questions plz

Post by MikeS »

I got mine a few weeks ago and it installed wonderfully and works betten then I expected, well done! I found the interface very nicely thoughtout and I settled on a black baseball cap with a single dot on the brim - no problems.

FS9 AMD2100 GF4200/128 1megram AOPEN's mouse with dual wheels in MSmouse mode (not AOPEN native advanced mode)

I do have a question that I hope some here can help me with. I have found through trial and error that the TrackIR software is interfering with the mouse scroll wheel. This is a repeatable problem so I can experiment with a solution.

With the TrackIR software running;
HSI/DG - left click units are in tens, scroll wheel is single digits (actually a nice side benefit)

ALTITUDE SELECTOR - click and scroll units in 1000s of feet only (vs hundreds)

With the TrackIR NOT software running (or disabled via key F9);
HSI/DG - left click units and the scroll wheel is in single digits only (normal and correct)

ALTITUDE SELECTOR - click and scroll units are in hundreds of feet only (normal and correct)

I have searched the forum on several keywords but had no luck- did I miss some info on this anywhere?

Thanks
Mike

since the above was my first posting on this support forum, I not be aware of exactly the proper procedures.

Just how long should one wait for a Naturalpoint technical support response?

What title are you seeing this in? Is it just one sim or is it all across the board?

It is in Flight Simulator 2004, this is the only game software I have and the only software that I use TrackIR for.
