Red Light stays on when computer shut off

Haven't tried the device on another system.

Device is plugged in to a USB port. No huband I have moved it around to different USB's.

Not sure what you mean by isolating the device on USB ports.

Try and only have the TrackIR plugged into USB, if possible. I would also recommend trying it on another system. If the light is staying on, your USB ports can still be getting power even if your system is off.

What's the purpose of having the Red LED always on? Why not have it off by default, unless the software is running. I much prefer that option. I have my TIR 4 connected to a powered hub, and the light is constantly on.

My 32 inch computer monitor is also my 32 inch room TV, and having a red light above my TV is a little bit annoying. Is it possible that in the next version of your software, it can be turned off unless the TIR software is running?

My Track IR 3 Pro has been a bit erratic lately and I noticed the red light is on when my computer has been shut down. If I recall it always used to be off when computer and power is off.

I assume something must be wrong.

What is the Serial # of the device?
It should be located on the end of the cable, near the USB plug, or on the underside of the device.

Have you tried the device on another system?

Are you plugging in directly to the system, or are you using a hub?

Have you tried isolating the device on the USB ports?
