issues with new software version (5.5.0) - DCS

I updated from 5.4 to 5.5, updated game list, restarted my pc (i opened DCS only the day after the update).

The issue:
I use the "APP" button, the one between RCTRL and RALT in some keyboard (mine is Logitech G105 italian version), to centering view. It works if the TrackIR software window is in focus, if DCS is in focus and TrackIR software is in background or in tray icon only, then the center command has no effect. My first try was to change the button with one of my joystick, and it works. But that's not what i need, i can't sacrifice a button for that, i'm good with that keyboard button. So my next try was to give TrackIR Admin privileges. No effects.

Then my next try was to disconnect and reconnect the camera while the game is open. Usually in the past this fixed a lot of problems. And this is the sweet part, the software just crashed, i reopened it and DCS didn't recognize the trackIR anymore, even if i click re-scan devices, or if i unplug and replug the usb. This is very bad because with 5.4 this steps always made to revive TrackIR in DCS, expecially the unplug and plug of USB port.

Considered this last issue, the update it's not worth the risk to stay without trackIR in a long mission with no chance to make it work again without quitting the game. No way.

I just rolled back to 5.4. which is working perfectly for me.
Hope this feedback will help developers to fix what is wrong with 5.5

Thank you for this feedback. Is the only keyboard button having the issue the "APP" button? Do other keyboard buttons work normally as hotkeys? For example, do you have any issues if you use F12? Have you verified that the APP button isn't being used as a hotkey in DCS?

Our team is aware of the issue with the camera reconnecting causing a crash, and they are working on a fix.

I'm using this

button for recentering track-ir in DCS since 7 years, yep i'm sure it's not being used in DCS. On 5.4 it works very well, never had that issue.
I've not did try other buttons sorry.
