There is an issue with this update - 5.5.0
It caused a crash with Windows 10 when installing, starting and then shutting down. When I re-started, it did not register the IR camera. I had to unplug the Camera, and replug it for the software to pick it up. Almost every time I started and stopped the TrackIr software.
Additionally, when stopping TrackIR 5, it would somehow start the Nvidia Control Panel too. This caused a corrupted Nvidia driver. Uninstalled both TrackIR5 and Nvidia drivers.
Rebooted machine, reinstalled Nvidia from scratch (latest) and then installed TrackIR 5.5. Rebooted Machine.
Started TrackIR5.
Worked once correctly, then exactly the same issue.
Also as stated in another topic, the centering doesn't work.
Plus, the actual tracking is not as smooth as v5.4.2. even with smoothing turned WAAAAY up. (50 or more. Never had to do that before, ran at 11-15 no problems)

Re-installed 5.4.2. NO PROBLEMS.

PS: been using TrackIR for years.

Hello muzashi1963,

I am glad that you were able to reinstall 5.4.2 with no issues. Our team is working on bug fixes for 5.5.0 that will hopefully resolve a lot of the issues that have been reported.

Hey Muzashi,
We released a 5.5.1 which should fix this issue, however, you need to uninstall 5.4.2 before you install 5.5.1. There's something happening where if you just install 5.5.1 over 5.4.2, not all of the files copy correctly.

If you wanted to jump to the most recent version you can do that now.
