Game Updates and BOS

Hello,
Since last update 5.5.2.228, I am having many problems with my Trackir5.
First, the left light (looking at it face to face) was flickering and when I was flying in BOS I was intermittently losing the tracking. Then, somehow after a couple of days it was solved by itself.

It worked fine for a day but last night ... I started the software and in the upper right-hand side corner I got the red circle indicating GAME UPDATE. I press but I get all the time an error message saying error to access the update server and access denied.
The Trackit5 seems to work fine though.
However, when I start BOS, the left light is green and on but the right light remains off and if the game BOS doesn't pick up the Trackir and it does work. All my squads mate were flying fine, but me ...
I tries restarted the PC and reinstalling the software but to no avail. I am desperate and I don't know what to do now ... please help!!!!

Where is the GAME UPDATE file stored? What is it call? Can I just replace it manually from a friend send it to me?
Why is the BOS not detecting my Trackir5 but it does with my squad mates?
