TrackClip Pro lights flashing red and green in the viewer

Hi there like the post title says the lights on my proclip are displaying as flashing red and green and the yellow status indicator on the app keeps flashing with them. the green status light on the app is staying on but the trackir camera left status light looks like its a strobe light. any idea what may be causing this and if there's an easy fix?

Hi Jojothebox,

The TrackClip Pro (https://www.trackir.com/accessories/) is a wired accessory that has three red LEDs on an arm, all of which should be facing the camera. If you have any other LEDs on your TrackClip Pro, then it sounds like you may be using a device from a different manufacturer.

The left indicator on the TrackIR camera shows whether the camera is correctly detecting the LEDs on the clip. If it loses sight of an LED, or if the angle of the LEDs makes it impossible to determine which one is which, then the left indicator will turn off and the software will behave as you have described.

You can verify that the camera is detecting all of the LEDs by changing the software to Camera View mode. If the three dots turn red or if you see more or less than three dots, then you may need to change the angle of the TrackClip Pro to align with what is seen in the user guide (https://d1rhoi6onixddn.cloudfront.net/d ... _23.06.pdf), or you may need to check that all of the LEDs on the clip are working.
