On one thread I read, the advice was to change from smooth to aggressive in order to get smoother responses, which I thought sounded a little peculiar.
Can someone summarise exactly what happens when these dynamics are changed - should I be using smooth, aggressive or what? I'm mostly flying IL2 and recently BoB2 (once its problems have been sorted it should be a great game) and am reluctant to alter too many variables without really knowing what I'm doing.
Altering profiles
Re: Altering profiles
That dynamic is how closely TIR tracks the view curve I believe. Think of the amount of play (like =/- a %) either side of the curve and the speed the curve is read.
I have tried all of the curves and I found that the aggressive was strangley enough the smoothest ingame.
If you have an original copy of the profile I would not be that worried about altering things. I would sugest making a fairly large change in one parameter and trying that one in game, you can always put it back
It is worth spending a little time just experimenting with the variables then you can tailor make them for your self.
