Orthopaedic Studies

Post by yendor0001 »

I work for an Orthopaedic Research Company.( http://www.orv.com ) I think desktop motion capture for gait analysis, range of motion studies etc. could have thousands of applications for my company. (Physicians love the cool toys too) We're grant funded so the affordability of the product is a major concern. For some of my illustration work I've been using Curious Labs Poser version 6 so BVH or even Poser file formats would be great for us.

Hello:

Glad to hear that you are excited about the applications of our product!

We are in the process of greating a more powerful 3D motion capture kit, with multiple cameras, that could plug into many programs and use BVH.

Currently we do have customers that just use the single or multiple dot locations from a single camera for range of motion studies, and they have been quite pleased, although they do write their own applications around our development kit.

Let me know what you want to do and I would be happy to provide feedback on how our cameras could be made to work.
