TrackIR4 not working in MS FS 2004

Installed software. Settings done and hat working in them.I cannot activate the Track IR in the game.Tried enable/disable but still a static screen view.How can I start the IR please???

Romeo, I have been trying for over a week now to get my TrackIR working in FS9.
About ten minutes ago I re-formatted the partition and installed FS9 and the TrackIR software on the same partition but it still doesn't work!
I wonder if it's a fault in the latest version of the software?
I've emailed the support guys to try and get some help, so I'll pass on what they say.

Not heard from Support yet, but I've been thinking.
There seems to be quite a few people who have bought TrackIR with the latest software version, and I think there's somehting wrong there.
I'd like to try and get hold of an earlier version to test this theory, anyone know where I can get hold of one?

got mine a couple of weeks ago,using latest updates and fs2004 works fine here,do you guys use no-cd crack?

FYI we do not work on the weekends. Also be sure you are not using the NO-CD hack, did not change you language.dll and have not edited your FS9.CFG to turn off the message display.

Those will all cause the TIR to not work in FS9.

Rick, I wasn't having a dig at you for not working weekends and I am not using a no-cd crack, it's just a straight install of FS9 and the TrackIR software on a recently formatted partiton and nothing else.
I have been through all the relevent threads and have posted on other forums, but I just see the same advice: don't use a No-cd crack, don't change your language.dll and don't turn off the message display, none of which apply to me!
Should the software be installed in a particular order, though I think I installed it correctly as it works with other software?
I've watched all the movies of TackIR and FS9, and its driving me nuts not being able to use it.

Ok, I installed TrackIR and FS9 on another machine that has never had them installed before and it worked first time.

Oh my!!!

Back to my machine and re-installed the software, exactly the same as the other but still no blue light.

What could be wrong???

Have you used the NPRegFix.exe to help?

Does the TrackIR funtion correctly in our software without a game running in the background? Like the heads display?

Also be sure you didnt install the FS2002 module in your FS2004 install by mistake which can confuse the TrackIR.
