Vista RC1

Post by Corona »

Hi,

I plan on installing Vista RC1 and was wondering if Track IR works with it yet, and if not if you have beta drivers for it?

Thanks a lot

We do have Vista support on our internal road map, done deal. We are always working hard on great new stuff for the community, we appreciate that you recognize this, customer service is #1 at NatualPoint. Vista is not a trivial thing to develop and test, as our product works at the driver level. We want to make sure we get it right, as you would expect, this takes time. So, please hold tight, we are aware that you need this support and we will make it happen. As far as a time frame goes, we can't be specific, (as you all know, software commitments are a dangerous thing!), it will come as soon as we can make it happen.

Ok, I understand. Looks like dual boot until this is sorted then (probably the smarter thing to do anyways).

Please keep us posted though.

Hey,

sorry to bother you again, but Vista is running really great here and I'd like to migrate everything over. FS2004 runs pretty much the same, so the only reason I currently have to ever boot into xp is using TrackIR.

Is it save to install the current driver and software into vista or will this screw things up?

Any beta drivers I can play with?

Thanks a ton

BTW: I just got my device about a week ago and already I can't imagin flying without it (although it gives me headaches after a while....)

Our latest drivers don't work with Vista, and we currently don't have any beta drivers either.
