Is the 'no device connected' issue fixed yet?
I was looking forward to buying the TIR4pro and usually will check on the support forum see how's after sale service like. Seems like the 'no device connected' a common problem here. Has it been fixed yet? because if not I am going to hold back from buying it.

Generally speaking this tends not be a hardware issue, but related to getting enough voltage to the TrackIR, through the USB ports to get it to function properly. This usually entails, turning off power saving modes, isolating the device on the USB port, or getting either an external powered hub, or an add-on USB PCI card. The issue can also be helped by updating USB drivers, and motherboard bios updates.
As for the frequency of it being listed in the forums, that is why we have the forums for. To help out customers when they are having issues, if there is an actual hardware failure, the product is covered by a 1 year warranty as well.
