I might not explain this too well so bear with me.....
The more you turn your 'real' head sideways the more uncomfortable it becomes to move your head up and down. In-game when looking over your virtual shoulder this makes precise glances up and down somewhat forced and awkward.
Is it possible to add a feature whereby when the software detects your head is nearing the limits of horizontal movement it adjusts the vertical response so less 'real' head movement is required to look up and down?

have you tried adjusting the speed, so that your head doesn't have to turn as much in the left-right direction "yaw", thereby making it easier to look up-down "pitch" for you?
