Jittery Movement With 4.1.029 Drivers

Post by T3amkilla »

I decided to try the newest drivers the other day and discovered that they can be used with Orbiter. Now, I've been using the 4.1.028 drivers for about a year and they work perfectly fine. I use them mostly with FS9.

But with the 4.1.029 drivers, the in-game framerate is fine, but the in-game head movement is very laggy and erratic. When I run the head movement thing from the TrackIR menu, everything seems fine, though.

I'm just not sure what the problem could be. I'd have no problem with staying with 4.1.028, but I want the support for Orbiter.

1 - Both versions of the software have Orbiter support. You may need to just do an update of the the Game Update list.

2 - On the Tracking screen, within the TrackIR software, are you getting more than 3 green dots?

Any other applications running in the background?

Have you tried a clean install of the TrackIR software?

Remove the TrackIR software by doing the following:
a. Click "Start"
b. Click on the "Control Panel"
c. Click "Add/Remove Programs"
d. Find "TrackIR" and click "Change/Remove"
e. Once launched it will give the option to completely remove it.
f. Delete the NaturalPoint folder at the following location, C:\Program Files\NaturalPoint
g. Download and reinstall the software from the following location, http://media.naturalpoint.com/software/ ... .Final.exe
