Limited view panning in FA-18

Post by Guard72nd »

Hello.

I am experiencing problems getting a full... range of panning in janes FA-18 with the TSH3 patch.
The centering and horizontal panning works nicely, but panning in the vertical axis is almost nonexistant.

I read an old post on another forum where a user mentioned some "motion fix" that would fix this problem, and said the info was on this forum, but my search has so far not paid off.

I know certainly that the placement of the tracker unit, and my position relative to it is not the problem, since I do not experience this problem in any other sims/games. (F4AF, FS9 and LFS)

Anyone of you guys experienced this?

And you have modified the registry entries according to the TSHv3 Manual?

I thought that was just applicable for TrackIr 1 and 2 users?

Should I do this with the 4 pro as well?

Edit: This is what you refer to as the regedit from the TSH manual, right?
Close the Naturalpoint software if it is running.
Open the Start menu and select "Run..."
Type "regedit" and press Enter.
Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\NaturalPoint\NaturalPoint\V3.13 GX.
Scroll the right portion of the window down to "Viewlimiting".
Double-click on "Viewlimiting".
TrackIR users: change the value from 0 to 1 and press OK.
TrackIR 2 users: change the value from 1 to 3 and press OK.
Close the registry editor.

I do not seem to have these entries.
Using the 4 pro (as I should have mentioned in my orig post) with the latest drivers/software

Might be, have yoy tried adjusting the y axis within the TrackIR software?

I'm just not sure how much movement there is within the application, and the cockpit.
