Vista support?

Post by mosey »

Hello...
I just discovered TrackIR online yesterday. I've already preordered Windows Vista from Amazon, so before I buy, I'm wondering what the current situation is for Vista support? Do the existing drivers "just work" in Vista, or will new ones be released?

Currently we are testing our latest versions of the Natural Point software in Vista. The software seems to be compatible with the 32-bit version of Vista, but we can't officially support the OS, until a later point in time. We want to make sure we get it right, as you would expect, this takes time. So, please hold tight, we are aware that you need this support and we will make it happen. As far as a time frame goes, we can't be specific, (as you all know, software commitments are a dangerous thing!), it will come as soon as we can make it happen.

Are you planning Track IR4 drivers to be compatible with both the 32bit and 64bit versions of Vista? I am currently planning my vista upgrades so any info on what you intend to support will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance
