Please develop a headset with tir led's built in.

Post by Lith1um »

I wish you guys would market a decent headset with led's incorporated.

Team up with someone of decent quality, like Sennheiser Pc 160's. Place the led's in the headband and mic boom tip.

Would anyone else be intersted in this type of thing?

It would reduce the weight of the system and you would only need one cord. I'd buy it in a heart beat.

Thanks!

Interesting idea, but I don't think I would get one. The trackhat is one thing, but I think this is something else alltogether.

Another thing to consider, when you combine two components like that you have to take in consideration one part or the other breaking. What if the LEDs work but the headphone speaker is broken? You have to send it back. As a rule of thumb I'd say only combine things that depend on eachother to function.

Cool, glad to hear that.

The reason I mentioned the sennheisers is because I own a pair. They are light, high quality, and they have a single sided cord. Oddly enough, the traclip geometry closely matches that of the pc160's.
