I was running TrackIr v4.1.028 for FS2004 very succesfully. I got a new PC, installed FSX and Vista. Upgraded TrackIR to v4.1.029 - downloaded, installed and a message came up: 4.1.029 is not a valid WIN32-program. Downloaded and installed v4.1.030, uninstalled the original v4.1.28, reinstalled v4.1.030. When I test the tracking everything is okay. I open FSX and the LED is green. No tracking in FSX.
Maybe it has something to do with the problems with v4.1.029?

TrackIR upgrade to FSX - Help, please
Re: TrackIR upgrade to FSX - Help, please
Which version of Vista are you running?
32-bit or 64-bit?
Do you have any firewall software installed?
Does the blue LED activate when you start a flight within FSX?

Thanks for your reply, Vincent.
I am running Vista 32-bit. But now I used the facility in Vista to run the TrackIr program compatible with XP, and now it is working fine.
Best regards
Kenneth
