detecting IR light for blob detection

Post by area6 »

Hi,

I'm wondering if you would be able to use the camera to detect frustrated IR light from LEDS..(probably the wide FOV lens?) And how much customizing/extra work it would require.

I'd building a multitouch screen which utilizes Frustrated Total Internal Reflection (FTIR) and i'm just wondering if your camera could be of any use..

thanks for your help!

Hello:

Yes, our cameras can be used to track IR light blobs, you might be able to use the TrackIR in this application, but surely the OptiTrack. The wide FOV lens is now standard on the C120.

We have tried similar applications in the past and have had good success.
