Flight Sim X Demo and TrackIR

I have downloaded the MS Flight Sim X Demo but can not get it to work with TrackIR. The blue light does not turn on when in flight. (The TrackIR application does not detect flightsim, and does not load any profile, so I have also tried forcing it to use the flight profile)

TrackIR works perfectly with my race games (WTCC - Race, and TDU)

Any ideas?

The issue is that the TrackIR does not have support in the demo version of FSX. They had to disable several sections of FSX to get a 16 GB application to 700MB, and one off the sections disabled is what allows the TrackIR to work.
