I just recieved the TrkIR 4 and Clippro. I installed according to instructions and all appears to go well. As soon as I got to the software and try to edit the profiles the program stops responding. I wait a couple of minutes and nothing. I have uninstalled all firewalls and did a fresh re-install, but it did not work. I tried installing without the clippro and the same thing happened. i have tried ALL the ports on my computer and uncheck the news box. I give up. I am running XP home on a gateway machine.
Update:
Spoke with Vincent on the phone. We tried a few things, but they did not work. He is supposted to be contacting his development team to see if they have any ideas. In the meantime I am processing a return (exchange) of the unit to see if the issue lies there. Before I return the item I am going to test it on a friends machine. I'll post updates as things happen.
Update# 2:
Tried the system on a friends machine. All worked fine. I called Vincent again and he asked me to send a DXDiag file to him. I spoke with the people that make my Vid. Card to ensure i have the latest drivers. and I called gateway to ensure I had the latest stuff for for the tower. All is up to date. When I get home tonight I am going to make the file requested and send it off for thier anaysis. It is not looking good for me.

Sorry it took so long to update, but I forgot i started this. I was never able to get it to work on my system. I sent Vincent a DXDIG file for the development team to look at, but never got a response. Wrote another email a few months back and was told in some many words that they were not going to bother as it seems to be an issue limited to my machine.
