Hi there,
I'm experiencing a problem with certain mouse functions when I have Gravity enabled.
The problem occurs when I LEFT Down, and attempt to drag the cursor to select text. The mouse does not move. Nothing is selected.
I can LEFT UP from that, and continue on and do all other Smartnav functions. It just doesn't allow me to mouse down AND select text!
This happens in Word, and Editpad. It appears to be non-program specific. And the problem is persistent even when I uncheck Speech, and use Ability Switch, or Keyboard Hotkeys to perform the Left Mouse Button down function.
In addition to this, when Gravity is selected, and using SmartNav in Word, the left ability switch cannot be double-clicked. And the right switch gives entirely the wrong context menu!
If I deselect the Gravity option (USE CURSOR GRAVITY), then the combo of MOUSE DOWN and move cursor to select text, functions as expected. And in Word, I can double click, and I get the expected Right Context Menu.
I have Vista 32, SmartNav 3. Latest Smartnav software. Speech Recognition. And external Ability Switches as well as hotkeys enabled.
I'm wondering whether anyone else has discovered this problem. And whether there might be a workaround. Of course, I can just leave Gravity turned off.
Thanks,
Tony

What menus are you getting, instead of the regular ones, when gravity is enabled.
