I have a SLIM:V100 and would like to port its video data to the MAX/MSP environment. Video components of this environment (collectively known as 'Jitter') can recognize the optitrack but fail to access the image data (due to a problem of compression/non-compression?). I see that the FLEX:V100 and FLEX:C120 are listed as being able to output grayscale data:

Is this a basic difference with the SLIM:V100?
If anyone could give me an idea of how to solve this I would be very grateful.

Here is a link, which shows the differences in the cameras, but the slim also does grayscale....

How are you trying to access the grayscale data?
It is available directly via the OptiTrack API as well as through the optional DirectShow filter which you can get from the support-downloads section of the OptiTrack website.
