Dear All,
I have the 'Ability Switch' mouse buttons plugged in (via extension leads), which usually work fine, but every couple of months or so one of the buttons stops working. Sometimes I can fix this by unplugging and replugging them but this time this hasn't worked. I suspect the problem is software rather than hardware (I have alternative hardware I can bring in from home to work to try swapping tomorrow to prove that). I tried installing the latest driver but still the same.
Has anyone else had this problem or have any suggestions?
Regards
Geoff
Mouse button occasionally stops working
Re: Mouse button occasionally stops working
Hmmmmm, I would look to make sure the issue is hardware or software, try moving switches.
We are talking about the ones that plug into the side of the SmartNAV? or USB?

Vincent,
Plug into side. I replugged today and now they are OK. Thanks for your quick reply. Any advice on avoiding problem in future e.g how would I know if connections were dodgy? If recurs I will try swapping hardware to confirm if hw or sw.
