Currently the TrackIR does not have TRackIR support.

As for v9.0, I have not had a chance to test, but I will see what I can do.....

There's a tickbox for enabling TIR support in X-Plane 9.0 (beta 13), but it doesn't seem to work. I don't get a blue light under my TIR 3 unit, so it looks as though the software doesn't recognize this version of X-Plane.

I would recommend using the Sandy Barbour plugin for TrackIR support, in X-Plane.

It can be located here........

Download the latest PilotViewWin.zip file, to your system desktop, from the following website

http://www.xpluginsdk.org/pilot_view.htm
**Thank you to Sandy Barbour for this plug-in

Extract the file to your desktop

Copy the plug-in file to your X-plane install location. Default location to copy the file to is: C:\Program Files\X-Plane\Resources\plugins

Start the TrackIR software

Start the X-Plane software

Once X-Plane has finished loading, go to the menu bar (at the top of the screen) and select Plugins->Pilot View->Enable. This will activate the 5DOF support within X-Plane.

Just thought I'd add a little info for anyone new who needs an answer to this. X-Plane v9 has 2dof TrackIR support by default, but you need to click a checkbox under joystick and equipment in settings to enable it. Once you check that box, you need to restart the program to run TrackIR on X-Plane. Also note that on vista, you must run the TrackIR software and The Enabled game as admin to get TrackIR support. I am not sure if the 6dof plugin works with v9, but that is something worth looking in to.
