I have just reinstalled the Track IR4 on my new system (Vista 64bit), using the latest software from the web site. Seems to be OK except that the F12 (centre) function will not work at all and the heads are pointed in all directions. Just cannot seem to get any response from the F12 key.
All was working Ok on my previous installation on the old PC (XP)
Have you come accross this before and/or have any suggestions
Thanks
Taffy
F12 Problem with New Vista Installation
Re: F12 Problem with New Vista Installation
Make sure a profile is highlighted and their isn`t a bright light behind you. I have a lamp behind me, that I bend to face down when the TIR4 is on. If not, it jumps all over the place.

Re: F12 Problem with New Vista Installation
Can you adjust it to another key, and have it function properly?
Re: F12 Problem with New Vista Installation
reider, Vincent,
Thanks you for your replies. I have no bright light behind me so that did not seem to be the problem. I reinstalled the software another 2 times, changed the function key (did not know I could do that), plugged it into another USB port and (fingers crossed), it seems to be working OK now -using the C key in place of the F12 key. After reading a few other later posts, I noticed that someone was having problems with the Logitech keyboard and the 'setpoint' software. I have a new Logitech keyboard and mouse with the 'setpoint software - could be a problem ?? Anyway, seems to be good for now - will keep an eye on things.
Thanks again for the prompt relies....................
