Arena+Motionbuilder

Post by grupamy »

Hi I have got a problem with real time in Motionbuilder. When I make real time transmission from Arena opticals are moving but when I record them in Motionbuilder and then play the record nothing moves on the in MotionBulider. When I stream a recorded scene from Arena to MB and record it in MB and then play it in MB opticals are moving. Do you know what's the problem?

Is this after you have attached the data points to a skeleton within motionbuilder?

Hello:

I am not a MotionBuilder expert, but I do know that we can't save the Optical data in MB at this time. You can save the Actor data though. This is a problem in our plug-in and we have it scheduled to be fixed shortly. Perhaps this is the issue.

I didn't attach the data points to a skeleton in MB. The data point(opticals) where free and MB should record them. I agree with Jim it's a problem with plug-in. Maybe I can help, you can send me the source code of plug-in and I try to solve this problem for you.
