I recently had a problem with my computer and had to unplug all cables (and that's what caused my problem, I think) in order to install a new CPU fan. In the camera view I can clearly see a green dot and the image is updated real-time, but TrackIR isn't working in Open Falcon, Red Viper or Allied Force. Lights are up (green and blue), but in motion tab it doesn't show any movement. I have tried switching to the other USB ports (Track is connected directly to MB, no hub), turning it off and on via a keyboard shortcut and centering view (I've had a similar problem in the past and it worked) but it didn't help.
Any ideas?

What version of the TrackIR software are you running?

3.13
I've reinstalled drivers and software and now it seems to work, but I can't change any motion presets or customize it (or TrackIR will die again).

So when you make changes within the software, it causes the unit to crash?

Well not to *crash* (software error, "send to MS?" etc). It looks like it's working (tracking tab, camera view, lights), but it isn't (vide 1st post).

Motion tab, trackIR Enhanced selected?
The software pauses, and unpauses (F9)?

Re: Problem with a TrackIR
Tried both modes with no luck. Right now I'm using LockOn profile (the rest caused what I've mentioned in the 1st post), but still I can't customize curves. I've checked my TrackIR on another computer - works fine. My CPU overheated a bit earlier - it was around 85-90*C. Maybe that's the cause (but all other apps and flight sims are working fine)? In the worst case I can try and reinstall my Windows.
