I have been using my SmartNav3 for a few days. Overall, I like it, but I notice that the mouse pointer drifts to the left. Every few minutes, I have to recenter it. (The vertical setting usually stays pretty accurate, but sometimes drifts as well)
Is there something I can do to prevent this?
Thanks!
left drift
Re: left drift
Hello,
Could you please provide the serial # of the unit (located on the bottom) and your current software version?
Please make sure that the unit is securely positioned on your monitor/screen. If the unit is not secure the cable can slowly drag it down over time and cause a slight drift.
If the unit is secure please email me your profile, it will be a .xml file and should be located in:
C:\Program Files\Naturalpoint\SmartNAV\Profiles (Or something similiar). My email is kevin@naturalpoint.com
Are you in absolute or relative mode?
Also if you open up the control panel and go to the 'tracking' tab do you see anything other than the dot on that black screen?
Thanks
Kevin
