Post by Gusser »

Hi !!
Iv got a TrackIr3Pro with vector and if i try to install newer driver with "True View" i have no vector active ?? i have to pull out the usb cable and put it back every time i start? tryd the registery fix ,but no joy. the driver im using is 4.1.27(i think)and working ok!and every other drivers without True View is working, so any solution for this?

I'm not sure I understand what the issue is.....

So after you install the latest software, and run the vector expansion utility the software doesn't detect the hardware?

Yepp!thats about what happends, it works the first time i install the vector, but as soon i shut down the track or comp and start it up again the track is starting BUT without the vector active? so ill take the usb wire out and put it in back and the vector goes active?? strange.. and its only with drivers with True View. Its not a big deal, but if you sit in a ckpit and lean and look back at the fuselag, it feels more real in True View!!

Nope that is a normal log, the 'error' you are seeing is in regards to the drivers being Windows certified drivers, nothing more.

So when you install the latest software, and run the vector expansion utility, what happens?

The first time i insall it it works as it should, vector is active etc... UNTIL i shut down the Tir or Computer. Then when i start up the Tir , the vector is gone ( not activated) and the option to activate it is greyed out. then i pull out the USB cable and stick it back and then the vector is activated again and work OK !! And as i told before , this only happends with driver with True View? older works greate !! iv tryd with different usbs on comp, open up every power saving usb( hub)etc. nothing seems to help ?? really wierd hmm...

Hmmm, and the build 27 software works ok?

When you power down, and before you unplug, and replug, is the TrackIR showing up on the device manager page?

Up to build 27 every thing has worked fine!!
And if a start up and have no vector active , its not showing up in the device.. iv got a message/error that tells me that a USB device is not working! then unplug and replug, the vector is active and now it shows "NaturalPoint TrackIr 3" in the device manager!!

So the USB portion of the system is loosing track of the device, when you power down. Which is why the vector is disabled. If the unit itself is not being detected the vector expansion will not be enabled.

Plugging directly into the system, or using a hub?

Do you have the latest motherboard bios installed?
