I am just about to order a SmartNav3 in Australia as they don't have an upgrade program for my old SmartNav2.
Can anyone tell me what the current serial #s being shipped in the USA are?
I have been caught out before buying stock from an Australian distributor that was well out of date and limited my options with software upgrades within months of purchase. This has restricted my unit's functionality with WinXP.
Many thanks, Sean
current SmartNav3 serial #s?
Re: current SmartNav3 serial #s?
If you are getting a unit that has a serial # of 16400 or later you are getting the latest SmartNAV3 hardware, which will be able to take advantage of all the latest software updates available.
What is your current software version and serial #? There should not be any reduced/restricted functionality of SmartNAV (any model/version) in windows xp.
Cheers,
Kevin

Re: current SmartNav3 serial #s?
Hi Kevin,
The problem I was having with the SmartNav 2 was random right mouse clicks. This happened when the dwellclicker was operational switched on or off.
I would appreciate some help with this as I still have the unit and will want to use it on other computers in the future.
I have purchased a SmartNav 3 and I am very impressed with it! However recently it has developed some strange behaviour which is subject of another post.
Cheers, Sean

Re: current SmartNav3 serial #s?
What is the serial # of your older SmartNAV and what software version were/are you running?
I would suggest making sure you are using the latest version of software that is suggested for your hardware serial. You can check out our support downloads page for more information:
