Hello
I have had trackir for a while now and never had problems but in the last couple of weeks it started freezing the whole computer even the mouse. this only happens when trackir is plugged in.
I don't think its a software issue because i have more than one windows installed and it still freezes the one that doesn't even have the trackir software installed.
and now if i start the computer with trackir plugged in i get three beeps like beep beep beeeep and it doesn't start. if i plug it in after the computer starts it just freezes instantly. computer works fine with trackir unplugged.
I don't have zonealarm
This sounds wierd but I think its actually getting worse by itself becuase I was on holidays for the last week so I haven't even touched the pc. the 3 beeps only started when i got back
any help would be appreciated
Thank you.

Have you tried the device on another system?
Are you plugging in directly to the system, or are you using a hub?
Have you tried isolating the device on the USB ports?
Have you tried turn off any kind of power save feature for your USB ports?
In the "Device Manager" you can right click the "USB Root Hub"(s), that show, and then select properties. On the power management tab, uncheck the box that allows the computer to turn off the USB port to save power (i.e. uncheck the box). Sometimes that has an impact on the connectivity of the devices.
