Hello:

We do not have a MB plug in for the Mac. We will note this request. Thanks.

Great, any idea if that would take long?

Do you know of of ways to export the optitrack data (or convert it) in the meantime so that motionbuilder can recognize it?

It seems like Motion builder has lots more tools to clean the data as raw point cloud data and I would like to use that.

thanks

Our software can export the data as a bvh, and c3d format file, which can also be imported to MotionBuilder

I am not as versed as I would like in motionbuilder but it seems that to use the Actor setting you need optical data. Is the c3d format optical then (like a point cloud)?

I imported the bvh format and it is a skeleton and I am unable to use a actor on it. The reason being in order to clean jerky data etc it seems like the actor settings offer more control etc.. Also I didnt catch any eta on a motion builder plugin for Mac?

thanks

Hello:

Yes, the C3D data is like optical data and can be applied to the Actor.

We do not have a time line for a Mac MotionBuilder plug-in, but since you have suggested it, it is on our list.
