Ship with a longer USB cord please
Just to say that one to 3 feet extra on the USB cord would make a lot of difference to a lot of people and would make it a better product.

For those who require a little extra cable length, we have a very affordable 3 foot USB extension cable available in our online store.

I have just measured the cord on my smartnav, and it's closer to 5 foot of than 6. in fact to be exact it's about 1.66 m/ 5'4''.
if you're selling it as 6 feet, it should be closer to 7 than 5.
It should really be about 8 feet, I have a bog standard cheapest mouse and keyboard that I bought blind from the Internet the and the chord is longer than the smartnav by about 2 feet .
I don't want to sound a bit stupid over a little bit of cord, my apologies for being pernickety, it's just that if I turn the monitor a bit on which the smartnav is stuck, it pulls the end of the smartnav.
and I'm more limited with the my computer placement.

Re: Ship with a longer USB cord please
I was surprised at how short the cable is considering it needs to reach from the top of my monitor round the back of the desk and into my PC which sits on the floor. At the moment the cable runs in front of my monitor down onto the floor which is a bit messy and the thickness of the cable slowly pulls Smart Nav around 180. I guess I should buy a USB extension cable but I think the best solution is to make the cable 2 feet longer for future customers. I thought I have a typical computer/desk setup.

Thanks for the post, we will look into longer USB cables. In the mean time you can usually slide the cord in between the SmartNAV base or monitor mount and the monitor to hold it in place securely.
