TrackIR in FSX changes flow when landing"???

Ok, TrackIR works pretty good with FSX. I want to make it not as sensitive vertically because even when I breathe the thing goes up and down vertically. If you can tell me how to reduce the sensitivity that would be great too.
But my main issue
Whenever I land, or whenever the plane touches the ground with the wheels down, the track IR head moves slower from that point on. The normal head turn radius relative to what my real head is doing is altered right away. I turn all the way to the left and I can still see the cockpit, a little left of it, but not out the left window. How can I fix this issue? TrackIR just decides for me when I land that the head movement is going to slow down when I land. Thanks for any help at all!!
