I've been using my trackIR w/pro clip for a few days now and I must say so far I like it. It does take a bit getting used to.
I used the latest software from Natural Point and had no install problems on my Vista 64bit system running FSX w/accel.
I did see that the suggested placement of the camera/track clip pro to be on the left side, but I've got it placed on the top right of my monitor, a Hanns 28" lcd with the clip on my right.
Does it really make any diff as to what side or center placement.?
The only other thing I'm still trying to get done is too get the movement smoother. If I lower my head just a bit, I'm looking at the flood board of the aircraft. This makes flying a fast mover like the hornet a real pain. Any suggestions of a profile/deadzones would be of great help.
So far a great product and worth the money.

Ernest

The spped settings can be a matter of prefernce.
As for the placement, the device is designed to only be attached to the left side of the headset, with the longer leg joint pointing down.
