My TIR pro 4 revolts!!! Pls help!

Post by Bono »

My perfectly working TIR (Pro4 with hat clip) became helpless since last night although I haven't altered anything.
(I have purchased it last week)

In game (Falcon 4 Allied Force);
  1. Yaw move turns to opposite direction,
  2. Head moves in extreme (complete 180 degreee)
  3. Can't look down.
  4. If I can look down, it suddenly shakes violently like passing through a turbulance than, view spins to sides although I didn't make any head move to cause that.
In edit windows,

Right side yaw turn goes extreme but the same dgree left side turn makes almost half the turn the opposite side makes. (both SW edit window and in game)

It appears to be normal when I open up the software but after a few move tests I do, the head drops down like below although I keep my head upfront still;

TIR in 2D option not activated.
Latest software update did not solve the problem either.

Desperately seeking for any advice to solve the problem.
I can't find any anomaly but below is what my edit window looks like.

I wear glasses and I see a couple of 'red' reflection dots from Tracking window when I look up. I've adjusted light filterling to the maximum hoping it will minimize possible problem my glasses may cause.

I was thinking you had some sort of backlight interfering, until you said youd covered that. Perhaps your glasses reflect some light at certain angles, have you tried it out in complete darkness? Perhaps even light from your monitor can reflect in your glasses?
Id say test in complete darkness, with and without glasses (use a friend as guinea pig while you observe at safe distance ;-) if you cant see anything without glasses).
I also experience similar problem when turning my head at too great an angle from the sensor. Normally F12 or a thorough roll with the head alliviates it.
Reflective stitchings on baseball cap may also reflect interferingly, try and cover those up and see if it helps.
Let us know how you progress.
