fsx + trackirv4 + accel. pack + vista x64.. no bluenogo

I'm running vista x64 ultimate, with fsx acceleration pack installed, i just purchased the trackir v4..

I've tried the software that came on the disc and the new version i just downloaded..

The test features all work in the software itself.. but when i run fsx i dont get a blue light or an indication in the trackir software that fsx is active.

I'm not sure what i'm missing here?

Are you running both applications as an admin?

I think i did for FSX (IE: i am a local admin, but i did the run as admin)..

You think i should try run as admin on both then..

I'm having the exact same issue. The TrackIR works fine but nothing is functioning in Flight Simulator X. I too am running VISTA 64bit and both applications in Admin mode. And can somebody please tell me what this "Active Sky X" is? Documentation is very lean on this. Thank you.

What version of the TrackIR software are you using?

Tried right clicking on the shortcut for both TrackIR, and FSX, and running as admin?

I received the TrackIR by UPS today. I upgraded the software to Version 4.1.036 right after initial install. Here's what's happening, the TrackIR works correctly in your software, but in FSX it only works when the aircraft crashes. When the aircraft comes up for flight the track system no longer functions. But if you crash the aircraft again the TrackIR works till the aircraft is reset. I'm running FSX with Accelerator. And now I'm experiencing the TrackClip PRO software crashing out when both TrackClip PRO and FSX are running. Have any ideas how I can get this system to work with FSX? (Oh yeah, I run both apps in Admin mode) Thanks
