Vista OS, Track IR Pro, and Falcon 4.0 Allied Force

Post by Greg Goodavish »

I have been trying to get Track IR to work with Falcon 4.0 Allied Force. With the original program, it did in the 3D view. I then updated Falcon with update 1.0.13 (the latest update). It is supposed to work in 2D view now as well, if you check a box in the Setup program of Falcon. I did all this, but Track IR still only works in the 3D view. I am running Falcon, and Track IR as administator. Is this a Vista issue, or is anyone else having this same problem with Vista?

Is this true, guys? I thought I had read in other posts that with the updates to Falcon AF, it now works in 2D panel as well. It even has a box to check in settings for that. Am I wrong?

There might be some 3rd party add-ons, which allow for expanded support.

OK, I reloaded everything, and now Track IR works both in 3D and 2D. In 2D, it still pans in stages, like the joystick hat switch, but does it automatically as you turn your head. While not as smooth as the 3D pan, at least you can change the switches, etc. in 2D mode, which you can't in 3D. Thanks, guys.
