I recently downloaded the 4.1.036 software (I think I was using 4.1.035), and now I am having a strange vertical response (Y axis) in Flight Simulator X.
If I look down at the floor or lower panels, when I look back up, my eyepoint is lower so I'm looking up at the dashboard. If I look up quickly at the ceiling, it resets. Likewise, if I am looking up, such as at the overhead panels, then look forward, sometimes my eyepoint is up, and I'm looking down at the dashboard. Again, this resets if I look down quickly.
It's not a huge problem, but it's highly annoying. I didn't have this problem before updating the software. Has anyone else experienced something similar?

Looking at your tracking screen (View -> Tracking), what do you see here?
Have you adjusted the smoothing settings, within the different profiles?
Do you have a deadzone set, within the different profiles?

Re: 4.1.036 software
If you watch the graphs, after looking down and around, then back up to center, sometimes you can see the red lines on the Y and Z axis snap back into position, from maybe 1/8 to 1/4 inch off. But it's inconsistent, and doesn't do it every time.
The settings are only slightly off from the default profile. Every line is straight across with no dead zones, except Yaw has a small dip at center, and Roll has a modified dead zone curve.

Ditto on the problem. It's frustrating.

What do you see on the tracking screen?
Do you get the same reaction when setting any of the other profiles to exclusively load?

Re: 4.1.036 software
As far as I can tell, the tracking screen doesn't show anything abnormal. There are the three big green dots from the track clip, and the two little red dots from my glasses. I wonder about the glasses sometimes, but they were never an issue before I updated the software.
On the gauges, it seems to be only the Y and Z axis that get stuck. You can see it on the head screen, but it is barely noticable, but it looks like in game head needs to raise his neck out of it's socket to look down.
I didn't notice this problem with the default racing profile, but there is a dead zone in each axis, so I was having a hard time flying with this.
I used the default profile, and it seemed to work fine, but again, I didn't spend a lot of time with it. I will later.
