I have had my TrackIR4 for about10 or 11 months now and after a careful but trouble free install and initial set up I have enjoyed largely trouble free operation from it until today.
On startup I discovered that my trackIR4 was not responding when the game was activated. The software first page is reporting that tracking is "configuring" there are no red led lights and the blue led is coming on and off at irregular intervals.
I have tried the usual "centre" and "Pause" keys to no effect other than the green led coming on and off. (key bindings of "home" and "End" are set to prevent conflicts with my usual flight sim LockOn).
After trying the above I resolved to unplug and re attach the USB lead, this had no effect.
Then I tried to install the most recent software update,again without benefit. Finally I have just finished a full uninstall and re-install of the software. The unit has remained stubbornly unresponsive with the tracking status reporting as "configuring".
If there is anyone out there that has had this problem I would be grateful for your help... is this just a software issue or should I sent my unit back to the supplier?
