Device not detected/working!
This seems to be a common problem so I took the liberty of making a separate thread with proper heading.
I've tried every solution offered in other threads found here, but avail. My TrackIR Pro worked fine for several months, but after reinstalling my Win XP it wont even show up. And it is not being detected on other machines as well, it seems dead..
Is this piece of plastic so delicate it commits suicide from time to time? :crazy:
And what has been the answer to all the other customers who reported this and was sent a private e-mail. If there IS a solution why not share it openly ???

This is a place for general troubleshooting so you generally see issues posted her. Generally, if the device is working fine, people don't post.
We tend to move the issue to email, as it then involves camera serial numbers, and we don't like to see user serial numbers posted on the forums.

I made a summary and e-mailed it to Your company, hope you can track the problem. Ehr.. "track" the problem..

Hi gents,
i have the same problem my self with the TIR 4.It was working perfectly since yesterday.I try to use it today and nothing happen.Not even a light, nothing.I make some un/installs , change the USB ports,still nothing.Maybe the e-mail you send to Scandi426 solve my problem also.

Hi, Vincent - I have not received any mail from you with solutions. The only mail was the automatic e-mail response upon initial contact. So I guess my mail has no problem with your mail server. Could you re-check, please?
