Axis gets stuck after some time

Post by crackedghouL »

Greetings,
the Problem I'm describing here is occuring on Windows 7 Beta.
I start up TrackIR and everything seems to be fine but if I click on a profile to edit it and then press on
Cancel or OK my "TrackIR.exe has stopped working" the data I edited seems to be saved
and I can restart TrackIR and use it..
The other problem I have is when I'm playing ArmA everything works fine for the first 10Minutes,
after that time sometimes pitch or yaw get stuck and don't move anymore.
Even if I open up trackIR then look at gauges tracking and
heads.. the gauge just seems to be stuck, at the tracking
window everything moves as expected but It just doesn't
react. If I don't restart or do anything about the stuck axis
nothing works anymore, all axes get stuck the Gauges are
centered but in the Heads preview "Your Head" disappeared and
the In-Game Head is somewhere faaar away upside down in the
lower left corner.

What I have already tried:

Reinstalling TrackIR: XP compatibility, Vista compatibility (of course both as administrator)
Reinstalling the Game
Checked Power Management
Created new profiles
Checked for antivirus or anything that could be interfering with TrackIR
Disabled Firewall

My System:
Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit (6. 1, Build 7000) English
Processor AMD Phenom 9850 Quad-Core
4Gig Ram
Ati Hd4870
Creative X-Fi Xtreme Music

I know that Windows7 isn't supported yet but this issue might be a major issue at later time.

Greetings,
ghouL

Edit: I have to add that this problem most likely only occurs ingame. I had it running for some time in Windows now and nothing happened.
Bad for me I don't have other TrackIR games for testing

Re-centering the view does not correct the tracking issue?

What version of the video card drivers are you using?

Are you connected directly to the PC, or using a hub?
