TrackIR software (4.1. ... ) - resolution changes

Hi,

I�m not sure, if this is 100 percent the right place for my post and if it has been discussed already... so please be forbear with me!

My TrackIR together with FSX is working well, but now, sometimes after starting or shutting down the TrackIR Software (whatever Version 4.1.035 - 4.1.037 I use) the resolution changes from 1680 x 1050 (preset) to 1440 x 900 and this is very nerving and bothersome!

Is there anybody who has a solution for this problem?

That isn't anything I have seen?

What resolution do you have set within FSX, is it differnent than the desktop resolution?

Within FSX it's the same resolution -> 1680 x 1050

But that's not a problem with FSX, because it happens when the FSX isn't/wasn't started, too. I have only to start the TrackIR software and close it after some time ... and the desktop resolution changes as mentioned above!

I didn�t have it before I updated to 4.1.037 I'am pretty sure ... also a full reinstallation to 4.1.035 didn't bring any success.

Maybe a new installation of the system will solve this problem ... but that's what I wont to avoid please!

Your not running the TrackIR software full screen, at startup?

Latest video card drivers installed?

Sorry for my late answer!

Full screen or minimized ... it didn't make any difference!

One week ago i installed the newest video card driver and it seems to work correct now! Let's see, what the next weeks will bring! Because now i have a little problem with my new Matrox-TripleHead2Go graphic-splitter + three 22" TFTs - system ... but that's an other story!
