unsuccessful install

Hello,

I bought a track IR device delivered with software 4.1.035 a few months ago.

My computer was unable to read the install CD. I dowloaded the sotfware on naturalpoint website and managed to make the Track IR work properly.

A fews weeks ago, I had a severe failure of my computer. I had to change my CD/DVD reader and to completely reinstall windows XP (lost all my data !) :( .

I've just tried to use the CD again to reinstall the Track IR. The Install process starts but a mesaage with "Error number : 0x80040707" appears. The process goes on until it reaches a window where I have to select the component I want to install. This window is empty and I have to give up the install.

The same thing occurs with a sofware dowloaded from the website.

What version of Windows are you using?

windows XP
family edition
Version 2002
Service Pack 3

You can try a clean install of the install shield manager software.
