I use Microsoft Flight Simulator X with TrackIR 5 a lot.
The default TrackIR hot keys F10, F11 and F12 directly conflict with the FSX functions assigned to those keys. I could probably map the TrackIR hot keys to my Saitek throttle control panel rocker switches however I do not use the panel all the time.
I was wondering if others might have come up with some creative ideas on re-mapping the TrackIR hot keys to unused keystrokes on the keyboard? It appears just about every keystroke possible is used up by FSX on the keyboard.

You could try using an alternate key modifier with the same default keys. Like Shift+F12 to re-center instead of just F12.

I tend to use the PrtScr, Scroll lock, and Pause/break keys, when using just the keyboard

Re: Suggestions for re-mapping TrackIR hot keys
I fly FX as well, and have changed my hot keys for my Track IR to the following for my FSX profile:
Pause = left arrow
Center = up arrow
Precision = down arrow
I then have my TM Cougar programmed for these on one of it's hat switches.
Not sure if those keys are used by FSX, but for my use this seems to cause me no conflict.
