Only Yaw and Pitch-Axis tracking in FS2004

Hey there,

I just bought TrackIR 5 Pro and got it working with both FSX and FS2004.
But in FS2004 only Yaw and Pitch movements are tracked, no Roll and Panning (X / Y / Z). In FSX it works fine.

I saw TrackIR5 and FS2004 videos which supported everything, as it is also seen here under "Supported D.O.F."

What am I doing wrong?

Are you using the standard install of FS9?

Any add-ons installed?

What OS are you runing?

Its FS9.1, but otherwise standard.

No add-ons.

Windows Vista x64 Ultimate.

Are you using the standard profile for FS9, or a custom profile?

Do you have all the axis checked for that profile?

Its a modified standard profile to reduce the deadzone, I also use that in FSX. All axis are checked. Just checked it.

As I said: FSX works fine, also the motion tracking in TrackIR5 Software. Only FS2004 misbehaves.

Yes, both, standard and payware (PMDG 747).

Only thing I can think of is that there is something within FS9, which is limiting the axis movement, as you have said that the same profile is working fine in FSX.

Ok. So you say normally it should work with FS9 as it works with FSX?

I had the idea that the TrackIR-2002.dll maybe does not work correctly with FS9 (= FS2004) as it was designed for FS2002.

You shouild not be using the TrackIR 2002 dll, with 2004. you would only use that dll file, if you are using FS2002. delete the file
