I am trying to set up the system to look at the relationship between facial motion and speech sounds for research purposes.
Has anyone investigated how to achieve the best synchrony between audio and motion data? I am using a optitrack synchronized camera and a mic for a/v input and the synch between a/v and motion appears to be off by a fixed amount. Before delving into diagnosing this too much I thought I'd ask what the known issues are.
